 Ambrosino Consultant Corp.’s approach is a simple one: how can we create a positive construction project while making it mutually beneficial for our clients and Ambrosino Consultant Corp.

 

 The methods employed are elemental but the core of everything we do: Look, Listen, Ask, and Evaluate.

 

 In Looking, we review the proposed plans to be constructed and the location that these plans will be implemented. The Listening phase involves working with architects, engineers, and tenants to provide the needed services in a prompt and efficient manner. We then Ask questions related to the project at hand to ensure deadlines are met and budget constraints are followed. We also provide coordination between subcontractors and vendors outside of our direct scope of work for seamless project completion. We Evaluate our performance both during all construction phases and post-construction.  The key factors we review include: communication both within and outside of our organization, project efficiency, project-scheduling and completing milestones set forth in the project, and finally financial efficiency. We want to ensure our estimating and subcontractor pricing is the best it can be while still producing a quality build-out in a timely fashion.

 

 All of these elements are brought together to help ensure we are providing the best service available for our clients.

  • Michael Ambrosino

    MICHAEL AMBROSINO

    President

     

    Michael Ambrosino has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry.

    He has been involved with all types of projects from roofing, exterior restoration, lobby and hallway upgrades, complete office restorations to new buildings and full gut renovations. His tenure as Chief Operations Officer of a large general contracting firm in Manhattan, with sales of $35-50 million, built his foundation of expertise in all aspects of the construction field. In 1998, Michael turned his attention to the Long Island market and its idiosyncrasies. He began Ambrosino Consultant Corporation in 2002 and since that time

    he has completed 4.5 million square feet of office space projects, ranging from 500 sq. ft. to 250,000 sq. ft. Michael’s knowledge and experience has made him the “Owner’s Edge” in the Real Estate market of Long Island.

     

    Not only has Michael spent a great deal of time building his businesses, but he has also managed to direct much of his energy toward a personal passion of community services. In 2010, Michael was honored by the NYS Troopers PBA Signal 30 Benefit Fund and honored as their ‘Humanitarian of the Year’. Michael has a long standing relationship with the March of Dimes and was honored as their 2007 ‘Man of the Year’. Michael also personally holds an annual Texas Hold’em Tournament and donates all of the proceeds to a worthy Long Island based charitable organization each year. Some of the beneficiaries of the tournament have been; The Ministries, Parkinson’s Unity Walk, National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Long Island, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York, New York Veterans Advocacy Group, and The INN.

    Controller / Office Manager

     

    Joanna joined the Ambrosino Consultant Corporation at its inception in 2002 and has been an integral part of turning it into the successful construction management company it is today. She brought with her 10 years of work experience and a background in sales, marketing, engineering and accounting. She manages day to day operations as well as accounting, human resources, pension plan, and health benefits. Her responsibilities also include processing AIA documents, subcontractor contract agreements and insurance.

    She graduated magna cum laude from Queens College with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She recently completed her Masters of Science degree in Accounting.

  • Jennifer M. Pinto

    Jennifer M. Pinto

    Executive Assistant

     

    Jennifer is a seasoned executive assistant, possessing over 15 years of experience in all administrative tasks. Having held positions in the legal, event planning and property management field, Jennifer is able to tailor her skills to meet various needs. In addition to arranging meetings and drafting correspondence for the company President and project managers, Jennifer also ascertains bids, provides proposals, and assembles closeout packages. Jennifer acts as a liaison between clients and subcontractors, as well as directs tenant/owner concerns or subcontractor questions to the appropriate individual(s).

    Jennifer graduated from Touro College Graduate School of Business with a certificate in Paralegal Studies. As a Notary Public, Jennifer also provides legal assistance in the executive assistant position.

    Project Manager

     

    Craig has worked in the construction management field for over 30 years. His foundation for managing projects was forged as the Director of an in-house facilitates team for a major financial institution on Wall Street. Craig moved on to the large Manhattan general contracting firm headed by Michael Ambrosino and was assigned the Long Island operation.

    Craig joined Ambrosino Consultant Corporation in 2003 specializing in projects related to the medical field. He has managed the construction of several Article 28 facilities, a Gastrointestinal Endoscopy office building and a Dental clinic.

    Craig graduated Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and is OSHA 10 certified.

    Kevin O’Connor

    Project Manager

     

    Kevin joined the Ambrosino team in 2007 bringing his skills as the business owner of a successful residential construction firm to our team. He applied this training to seamlessly transition to the commercial side of the industry and developed a strong bond with our network of subcontractors and clients.

     

    Kevin’s diligence to project schedules, budgets and client needs has allowed him to manage our most time sensitive projects. He consistently takes these projects from the initial plan phase right through the final sign off, maintaining a firm grip on the projects timeline and budgetary requirements.

     

    Kevin’s quest for perfection and attention to detail assures our clients that their project is in the right hands.

     

    Kevin studied business management at State University College at Old Westbury and is OSHA 10 certified.

     

    Greg Fairbend

      Project Manager

     

    Gregory Fairbend began his work in the construction industry in 2000. Gregory joined Ambrosino Consultant Corporation in 2008 as an Assistant Project Manager. Greg’s ability to manage multiple projects at one time and delivering them on time and on budget quickly enabled him to advance to Project Manager. His efficient management skills have enabled him to work closely with Ambrosino’s premier clients on developing all phases of their projects. A result oriented person, Greg ensures that his assistants and our subcontractors work diligently to ensure our client’s project goals are the priority.

    He is currently heading the Manhattan satellite office, responsible for project management, field operations, and estimating. Gregory received a Bachelor of Arts degree at The University of Stony Brook. He is certified from the OSHA30 program.

     Steven Ambrosino joined the company at a young age working in the field during his summer breaks from school. Steven now works directly with the project managers to assure each project is completed on schedule and on budget.

     His field experience has enabled him to quickly develop his management skills in all phases of the construction process. These include trade coordination, site and life safety, updating clients on project progress and liaison with Architects and Engineers. He has also joined our Manhattan satellite office and will assist on all these construction projects.

     Steven graduated from Western New England University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Management. He is OSHA30 Certified. Steven’s strong management skills and cooperation with clients ensures his advancement within Ambrosino Consultant Corporation, will be rapid.

     

     

    Daniel Craddock

    Assistant Project Manager

     

    Dan joined Ambrosino Consultant Corp. in 2013 and put his management skills right to work on a major façade renovation in Levittown, NY. He continues to develop his responsibilities by working with our prominent clients and on high end projects.

    He is instrumental in creating the project schedules, coordinates all trades; setting up site meetings and assuring life safety protocols are followed on the projects.

    Dan graduated SUNY Oneonta with a Bachelors degree. His continued progress in project management, assures his place as a valued member of the Ambrosino team.

     

     

     

    Matthew Kostik

    Assistant Project Manager

     

    Matthew Kostik joined Ambrosino Consultant Corporation in 2014 bringing six years of management experience overseeing the installment of custom audio/visual equipment in classrooms throughout the east coast.

     

    He presently works directly with Architects, Engineers and Building Owners to coordinate the trades on each project. Matthew is also responsible for implementing safety measures, arranging meetings, and assuring the projects stay of schedule.

     

    His management skills continue to improve along with his responsibilities to oversee projects. This is evident in the fact that his project list takes him from Suffolk County to the Bronx.

     

    Even though Matthew has just started with Ambrosino Consultant Corporation, he has proven that he has what it takes to be a vital member of the team.

     

     

     

     

  • PROPERTY MANAGERS

    Lorraine Biundo

    Lorraine Biundo

    Property Manager

     

    Lorraine is responsible for the property and asset management of Ambrosino Consultant Corporation’s commercial office, retail and industrial clients.  Her responsibilities include: Tenant relations; coordination of building maintenance and leasing. She also reviews and analyzes potential acquisitions; budget production; maintaining and reconciling general ledgers. Lorraine prepares the monthly and year-end financial statements and production of tenant tax escrow & CAM statements.

     

    Prior to joining Ambrosino Consultant Corporation, Lorraine worked as an Associate Director at a non-profit organization serving as their financial controller.  She also worked as an accounting manager for William Penn Life Insurance, where she was responsible for the investment of short term funds and the preparation of monthly statements and reconciliations.

     

    Lorraine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics Engineering from The University of Binghamton and also acquired her New York Real Estate Salespersons license.
